2026 The 17th Russian International Polyurethane Exhibition

From April 20 to 26, 2026, our company delegation traveled to Moscow, Russia, to participate in the 17th Russian International Polyurethane Exhibition (Polyurethanex 2026). Hosted by Mir-Expo, this exhibition is the only international professional exhibition focusing on the polyurethane sector in the Russian-speaking region.

Exhibition Overview

This edition covered an exhibition area of 18,000 square meters, bringing together about 335 enterprises from countries and regions including China, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, with over 12,500 professional visitors in attendance. Concurrently, the 3rd Scientific and Practical Conference on Production and Application Technologies of Polyurethane Materials and a series of corporate promotion events was held.

Exhibition and Communication

At this exhibition, our company focused on showcasing high-pressure polyurethane foaming machines, low-pressure pouring machines and supporting production line solutions. Our booth featured process demonstration videos and case display boards to clearly convey the practical application capabilities of the products.

Notably, we also launched the application solution of polyurethane spraying technology — through precise spraying processes, a more uniform microporous structure can be achieved in sole molding, balancing lightweight quality and high-resilience properties.

Application Solution of Polyurethane Spraying Technology

This process builds a microporous structure with optimized density gradient in sole molding by precisely controlling spraying volume, trajectory and raw material ratio. It combines lightweight quality and high-resilience performance, while reducing material waste and subsequent trimming procedures.

Compared with traditional pouring molding, the spraying process showed greater flexibility for shoe material orders with multiple styles and short delivery times. It enabled quick switching of formulas and mold configurations, meeting the core demand of shoe material manufacturers for production flexibility.

Many on-site shoe material manufacturers made in-depth inquiries about this technology, focusing on batch consistency of spraying uniformity, impact of raw material viscosity changes under low temperatures on spraying effects, and feasibility of equipment integration into compact production lines.

Focus on Customer Concerns and Deepen On-Site Communication

During the exhibition, visiting customers were mainly from Russia, Belarus and Central Asia, covering industries such as building insulation, automotive parts manufacturing and furniture production.

Through on-site exchanges, customers raised specific and practical questions, mainly focusing on three aspects:

Flexibility of capacity configurationMost local enterprises adopted a small-to-medium batch, multi-variety production model, so customers asked in detail about equipment line change efficiency and multi-variety compatibility.

Operational stability under low-temperature environmentsRussia and Central Asia have long winters, with workshop temperatures and raw material conditions differing from normal ambient levels. The startup performance and continuous operation of equipment at low temperatures were core points repeatedly confirmed by customers.

After-sales service response guaranteeCustomers regarded spare parts supply cycles and on-site technical support response time as equally important cooperation conditions as the equipment itself.

In response to the above questions, the team provided technical explanations combined with existing customer cases in the Russian-speaking region, and shared equipment operation data in real working conditions. This application-case-based communication delivered more pragmatic on-site feedback than pure parameter introduction.

Opportunities and Directions

In recent years, Russia’s polyurethane market has seen an annual output growth rate of nearly 10%, with sustained demand in downstream sectors such as construction, automotive and pipeline insulation. Affected by Western supply chain adjustments, local demand for import substitution of polyurethane production equipment and raw materials has risen, creating market opportunities for enterprises with stable supply capacity.

Company Strength

Faced with such opportunities, we brought not only equipment, but also nearly 40 years of industry accumulation.

As a technological pioneer in China’s polyurethane equipment industry, Haifeng has been rooted in this field since 1986. It has evolved from early single-machine equipment to a system solution provider covering high-pressure foaming, low-pressure pouring, spraying processes and complete production lines. With continuous technological accumulation, we have obtained 51 patents in total and built an R&D team led by multiple senior engineers.

These technical strengths allowed us to offer verified solutions to customers’ practical challenges — including low-temperature working condition adaptation, rapid multi-variety switching, and spraying uniformity consistency — rather than empty statements.

Future Work Directions

This exhibition turned customers’ specific demands for equipment performance, localized adaptation and service support from written information into intuitive understanding, and accumulated a batch of actionable project leads.

Subsequent work will focus on two priorities:

1.Systematically sort out customer information collected at the exhibition, advance business cooperation by priority, and convert intentions into tangible results.

2.Optimize equipment solutions and service standards for the Russian-speaking market based on on-site demand feedback, to further improve localized adaptation.
