Dongfeng Plastic Machinery Factory was formally established, marking the company’s exploration journey in the field of polyurethane equipment manufacturing.
1987
The company overcame key industry technical challenges and successfully developed and manufactured China’s first polyurethane continuous foaming machine and polyurethane sole molding machine. This filled the domestic technical gap in related equipment and promoted the innovation of production methods in the industry.
1997
To meet the needs of enterprise development and market upgrading, Wenzhou Hifeng Polyurethane Equipment Co., Ltd. came into being. In the year of its establishment, the company achieved a technological breakthrough by developing the first polyurethane foaming machine jointly controlled by an inverter and a microcontroller, which greatly improved the automation level and control precision of the equipment. In the same year, the first-generation needle valve type polyurethane casting head was successfully developed and obtained a national patent. This product made a grand appearance at the China Wenzhou International Industry Expo and won great attention in the industry with its leading technological advantages.
1999
The company invested in setting up a professional CNC machining center, equipped with high-precision processing equipment and a senior technical team. It built a complete industrial chain from precision processing of core components to independent R&D of complete machines, laying a solid hardware foundation for the continuous upgrading of product performance and customized R&D.
2001
The company officially launched its international strategic layout and successfully signed its first overseas sales contract with a Thai customer. The technical team went to Thailand and successfully completed the whole-process services of equipment installation, commissioning and operation training. After the equipment was put into use, it helped the customer achieve remarkable results of a 35% increase in production efficiency and a 28% reduction in unit energy consumption, setting a successful benchmark for the subsequent continuous expansion of overseas markets.
2002
The second-generation needle valve type polyurethane casting head was successfully developed and obtained a national patent. Compared with the first-generation product, the second-generation casting head achieved an all-round performance leap: the discharge precision was improved by 40%, the response speed was increased by 30%, the sealing performance was enhanced by 50%, and the service life was extended to 2.5 times that of the original product. At the same time, the product innovatively adopted a modular design, which greatly reduced maintenance difficulty and later costs, could adapt to various specifications of polyurethane raw materials, and significantly expanded the scope of application.
2004
To further expand production scale and strengthen R&D capabilities, Hifeng Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. was formally established, and a high-standard R&D base was built simultaneously. The base integrated multiple functions such as R&D, testing and pilot-scale production, providing a professional platform for the R&D of high-end equipment and further consolidating the company’s independent innovation capability in core technologies.
2009
The company continued to deepen the R&D of core components, successfully developed two key products: hybrid casting head and grinding head, and obtained national patents smoothly. This further improved the product system and enhanced the localization rate of core components.
2011
The company led the industry’s technological trend again by successfully developing China’s first polyurethane casting and foaming machine jointly controlled by a servo system and PLC. It realized high precision, high stability and high intelligence of equipment control, and promoted the industry into a new stage of servo control. In 2014, in response to the market’s demand for diversification and personalization of polyurethane products, the company developed a polyurethane external coloring machine, which solved the technical problem of color matching in traditional production, provided customers with more flexible production solutions, and enriched the company’s product matrix.
2019
Following the development trend of the Internet of Things, the company successfully launched the remote monitoring and operation and maintenance module for polyurethane casting and foaming machines. The application of this module realized real-time monitoring of equipment operation status, fault early warning and remote debugging, greatly improving the operation and maintenance efficiency of equipment and reducing the operation and maintenance costs of customers. It marks that the company’s products have officially entered a new journey of intelligence and digitization.
