The primary function of the Container Station is to automate the logistics between material storage and the production line while ensuring the chemical components are in an optimal state for processing.
1. Automatic Refilling: The station monitors the fill levels of the metering machine’s day tanks. When levels drop, the station automatically pumps material from the IBC or drum to refill the day tank, eliminating the need for manual handling.
2. Material Preconditioning: Before the Polyurethane (PUR) components reach the metering machine, the station actively conditions them. Through intermittent operation of the agitators and recirculation pumps, the system ensures the material is properly mixed, temperature-controlled, and free of separation.
3. Continuous Operation: In the “piggyback” configuration, the buffer tank allows the production line to continue running seamlessly while the empty transport container (IBC) is being replaced, preventing downtime.

Direct IBC Docking
